Licey Tigers – Oldtime Baseball Game

The 2023 Oldtime Baseball Game is being played as a fundraiser for The Boston Home in recognition of people with multiple sclerosis. Aidan Freeburg, a long-time participant in the Oldtime Baseball Game who was diagnosed with MS in 2014, has stepped forward to lead this year’s effort.

Uniform & Team History

The Tigres del Licey are one of the oldest professional teams in the Dominican Republic, founded in 1907. They are one of two teams based in Santo Domingo, the Domincan’s capital city.

Oldtime Game History

This uniform was donated to the Oldtime Baseball Game by Cambridge native and former mayor Anthony Galluccio, who wore it 2008 and ’09.
