Aparicio played 10 of his 18 seasons with the Chicago White Sox, winding up his career in Boston. He led the American League in stolen bases in each of his first nine seasons.

Oldtime Game History

James Greeley of Newton North High School was wearing this uniform in 2006 when he worked two shutout innings and also had a single, earning MVP honors. He also wore it in 2005. Joe Chiodo of Framingham State College, who wore it in 2000, went on to become varsity baseball coach at Watertown High School. Jaime Quiros of Boston College, who wore it in 2001, went on to play professionally for the independent Lincoln Salt Dogs.
