Oldtime Game History

In one of the great moments in Oldtime Baseball Game history, Framingham State College lefthander Orazio Azzarello was wearing this uniform in 1998 when he struck out former New York Yankee Mike Pagliarulo, who, like Azaarello, is a native of Medford, Mass. Azzarello went on to wear the uniform again in 2000 and 2001. In 1999, it was worn by Ricky DeVanna, who at the time was a student at Westford Academy. Though still in high school, he pitched two scoreless innings and was named MVP. Reid Jackson of Suffolk University, who wore it in 2008, played professionally in Belgium in 2010.

Also worn by:

Chris Bodnar, Williams College (’02, ’04); Lee Jamison, Villa Julie College (’03); Adam Pelleri, Suffolk University (alum) (’05); Steve Durant, Suffolk University (’06); Cameron Fullton, Xaverian Brothers High School (’07); Joe Corey, Becker College (’09); Charlie McConnell, Belmont Hill School (’12-’13); Dan Findley, Bowdoin College (coach) (’14).
