Oldtime Game History
Jeff Allison of Peabody High School, one of three veterans of the Oldtime Baseball Game to be selected in the first round of Major League Baseball’s annual draft (Florida Marlins, 2003), wore this uniform in 2002, striking out the side in his one inning on the mound. Nick Tempesta of Eastern Connecticut State College, who wore it in 1999, was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in 2001. Anthony Del Prete of Suffolk University (2003) and John Welch of St. Anselm College (2004) both later played professionally for the independent North Shore Spirit.
