If you look closely on the sleeve you’ll see a Pilgrim patch showing the year 1630. The patch commemorates the tricentennial of the founding of the city of Boston and was worn by both the Red Sox and Braves in 1930.
Oldtime Game History
Nick Vennochi of Emerson College, who wore this uniform in 2010, went on to become baseball coach at his alma mater.
